Captain Of The Super Eagles, Ahmed Musa, Joins The Turkish Karagumruk SK Team.
Karagumruk SK of the Turkish League has signed Nigerian international Ahmed Musa on a one-year agreement.
The super-Lig outfit introduced the 28-year-old winger on Thursday ahead of the 2021-22 season, which begins in a few weeks.
Musa’s come-back to Europe comes after leaving his boyhood club Kano Pillars in Nigeria.
The deal terms were not disclosed, but the striker is expected to help the club surge into the Turkish top division this season.
The former Leicester striker began his European career with VVV-Venlo in the Eredivisie before joining CSKA Moscow in Russia’s top flight.
Karagumruk is the fourth European club that Ahmed Musa would be playing for in his career that spans as far back as 2008.
Musa came to Europe in 2010 to join VVV Venlo before signing with CSKA Moscow and making his mark on the world stage. Three times with the club, he was Russian league champion.
He then joined Leicester City for a club-record fee of $16 million before returning on loan to CSKA Moscow.
Musa signed a permanent agreement with Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia in August 2018, before joining Kano Pillars earlier this year.
