17-year-old Boy Allegedly Murdered By Amotekun In Ibadan.

Hundreds of angry youths demonstrated in front of The Oyo State secretariat in Agodi, Ibadan on Wednesday morning, protesting the alleged killing of a 17-year-old boy called Opeyemi by an Amotekun corp in the Mokola area of Ibadan.

The enraged youths shut down all of the connecting roads around the secretariat’s main gate, interrupting human and vehicle traffic.

The stated boy was mistaken for an armed robber when he was shot, according to an interview with one of the protesters.

Mr. Sunday Odukoya, the governor’s Executive Assistant on Security, tried desperately to pacify the enraged youths, but they insisted on seeing the governor.

As of the time of filing this report, all gates leading into the state secretariat were blocked.
