#OccupyLekkiTollgate Trends Online As Lagos EndSARS Panel Okays Reopening Of Tollgate.
Nigerians are set for another protest scheduled for February 13th at 7:00 am as the Lagos State Judicial Panel okays the reopening of Lekki tollgate.
The tollgate has been closed following the shooting and killing of #EndSARS protesters by soldiers on the 20th of October 2020.
The Lagos panel was divided as five of the nine members of the panel led by Justice Doris Okuwobi (rtd), voted in support of the reopening of the tollgate at the last sitting on Saturday.
Irked by the decision of the panel, Nigerians have staged a new protest at the tollgate stating that the tollgate remains closed until the perpetrators of the killings are brought to justice.
They thought we had forgotten. They thought they could get away with it. They thought we would be too scared to demand that justice is served. They thought my generation will be defeated.
Forever, we soro soke. #OccupyLekkiTollGate

#OccupyLekkiTollGate The Nigerian Government thinks they are smart. They want to reopen Lekki Tollgate but cant fish out those responsible for the killings of the protesters at Lekki Tollgate. If one of their loved ones was massacred, it wont take them secs to track the culprits. pic.twitter.com/BQccO97AaN

Re-opening of Lekki Toll Gate is the govt saying "forget it, that one has passed". But what they don't know is that youths are determined to get justice.
