Drunk Man Murdered By Shark After Walking Into The Ocean To Pee.
After walking into the sea to pee at a Brazilian beach, a man presumed to be “drunk” was murdered by a shark.
The disfigured body of 51-year-old Marcelo Rocha Santos was retrieved from the ocean after the shark attack.
Santos’ hand was ripped off and a significant portion of his leg was chewed off by the shark.
The tragedy occurred on Saturday, July 10th, at Piedade Beach in the Brazilian city of Jaboatao dos Guararapes.
Santos’ lifeless body was taken to a hospital in Recife, where he was eventually pronounced dead.
The victim had been drinking with pals, according to mechanic Edriano Gomes. He went into the ocean at 2 p.m., when the sky began to cloud over and the sea began to churn.
According to Gomes, “My friend was in the water with the person who had been attacked. He was startled to see the man struggling. The water had a lot of blood in it.”
When the attack happened, Glazier Ademir Sebastiao was in the water with the victim.
He said to reporters, “I walked into the sea to pee because there was no bathroom on the beach. With the water up to our waists, I was beside him.”
The victim was taken by Marcelo’s friends to shore where he collapsed unconscious.
