Singer 9ice Welcome Baby With Wife Sunkanmi.
Nigerian singer and songwriter, Alexander Abolore Adegbola Akande, better known as 9ice has welcomed second child with his wife, Olasunkanmi Ajala.
The singer shared the good news via his Instagram page. He posted a beautiful baby bump photo of his wife posing with him and their daughter.
In one post, 9ice expressed his undying love for his wife, writing: “Just know that my love for you will last forever. Youth and beauty will fade, but my promise will stand because I cannot find any other who could fill in the spot you created in my heart, in my life. I love you faithfully and endlessly.”
9ice also has more children with other women. The singer is known for his powerful use of the Yoruba language in his music as well as his proverbial lyrics and unique style of delivery.
He was born into a polygamous home of five wives and nine children in Ogbomosho, Oyo State in Western Nigeria and grew up in Shomolu, Bariga suburbs of Lagos state.
In 1996, 9ice recorded his first demo titled Risi de Alagbaja, but it was not until 2000 that he released his first official solo song Little Money.
In 2008, He released the single Gongo Aso. With the song gaining popularity, 9ice was asked to perform at the Nelson Mandela 90th Birthday Tribute concert in London, United Kingdom in June 2008. He went on to win the Best Hip Hop Artist of the Year at the MTV Africa Music Awards.
