Newly Married Woman Suffers Severe Hair Loss And Excruciating Scalp Burns After Allegedly Using Fake Relaxer.
After allegedly using a fake relaxer, a newlywed woman‘s hair almost completely fell out, according to a Kano-based perfume vendor.
The incident occurred at a salon on Wednesday afternoon, March 10, according to Incensepalaceandperfumes.
It was discovered that the young woman, who had recently married, had come to the salon for a touch-up with a popular brand of a relaxer.
Other customers heard the attendant screaming as she was being attended to. They rushed over to see what had happened and discovered the newlywed in excruciating pain. Her scalp was swollen and burned in several places, and she had lost almost all of her hair.
A closer examination of the relaxer pack reveals that she purchased a counterfeit. She was taken to the hospital and treated immediately.
