Lai Mohammed’s Son Is Denied A Third Term In The Lagos State Assembly.

Folajimi Mohammed, the son of Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, will not be a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly after the 2023 elections.

Lai Mohammed’s son, who ran on the All Progressives Congress platform for a third term to represent Ikeja State Constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, was defeated in the ruling party’s primary on Friday, May 27.

He received nine votes in the election, while his opponent, Seyi Lawal, who was pronounced the winner by the Electoral Committee’s chairman, Comrade Ewuoso Olamide, received 15 votes.
