Just seven weeks after terrorists attacked worshipers at the St. Francis Catholic church in Owo, Ondo state, several unidentified gunmen reportedly attack the town again.
The attack, which happened on Wednesday, July 27, in the evening at Folahanmi Junction, where a construction company was situated, was reported to have harmed numerous individuals.
Eyewitness reports had it that the gunmen opened fire on those at the site.
Additionally, locals claimed that the attackers hurled explosive devices towards the target area.
The attack may have resulted in casualties, however this is uncertain.

Three people were hurt after a shootout in the town, according to SP Funmi Odunlami, the state police command’s spokesperson, who confirmed the occurrence.
”There was a shooting incident at Craneburg Construction Company Owo. Policemen are currently at the scene, victims have been taken to Hospital and they are in stable condition.
“We can not ascertain the casualty figure now and we also cannot say it was a terrorists’ attack with the use of explosives devices but Thursday, the EOD men of the command would go to the scene,” she said.
Odunlami urged residents not to panic as the situation was under control.
