“Sunny days wouldn’t feel so good if it wasn’t for the rain.
Today I want to dedicate this post to anyone who’s suffering from things that are overwhelming or depressing but can’t speak openly about them. Just know that situations never stay the same. Here are some tips for coping with depression. These don’t need to be in any particular order. Stay in touch
Take some time off to rest but don’t withdraw from life. Keep some form of routine going on. Socialising can improve your mood. Keeping in touch with trusted friends and family means you have someone to talk to when you feel low. ??♂️??♀️Be more active
Take up some form of exercise. Exercise is a wonderful mood-lifter. If you haven’t exercised for a while, start gently by walking for 20 minutes every day. Face your fears and eat well.
Don’t avoid the things you find difficult. When people feel low or anxious, they sometimes have the urge to eat the wrong things. Some people can lose their confidence in going out, driving, or traveling.
If this starts to happen, facing up to these situations will make them easier. Take some responsibility for your health and sanity.
